Based on the win-lose conditions and item flow outlined in the lucid chart, here’s how the dialogues are adapted:
Door 5: Idris
- Objective: Create the impression of madness.
- Item Given: Bottle of Water.
- Lose Condition: If Idris is not "affected" by Alba’s words, no item is given, and damage is taken.
Dialogue Flow:
- Idris: Who dares disturb my solitude? Leave me be!
- Alba: I... I didn’t mean to intrude. Are you okay? You sound upset.
- Idris: Upset? Bah! Perhaps... but what would you know of my troubles?
- Alba: Sometimes sharing helps. I don’t want to trouble you; I just want to listen.
- Idris: Listen? Ha! Words are cheap, child. They cannot fix what is broken.
If Alba responds empathetically:
- Idris: Hmph. Perhaps there’s some truth in your words. Here... take this water and leave me to my madness.
If Alba fails to respond empathetically:
- Idris: You don’t understand anything! Leave me be! (Alba takes damage.)
