Game Description:

SOS - Save Our Soul is a narrative-driven visual novel where players follow the journey of Alba, the wandering soul of a young woman, as she explores a mysterious, otherworldly hotel. Each room in the hotel holds secrets, unique characters, and pivotal choices that shape Alba's fate. Through interactions, Alba gains or loses "BubbleSouls," ethereal fragments of her essence, while acquiring items to aid her in uncovering the mystery behind her presence in the hotel. The story explores themes of self-discovery, forgiveness, and the bonds between souls.

Core Gameplay

Mechanics:

1. Exploration:
   • The hotel is the primary setting, featuring a series of interactable doors.
   • Alba navigates hallways to choose which door to knock on. Each door represents a unique encounter.
2. Character Interactions:
   • Upon knocking, characters may answer the door, leading to dialogue-based interactions.
   • Players choose dialogue options to shape their relationship with each character.
   • Interactions can result in gaining or losing BubbleSouls.
3. BubbleSouls:
   • Represent Alba's spiritual essence and connection to others.
   • Collect enough BubbleSouls to unlock key narrative events and progress.
   • Losing too many BubbleSouls results in game over.
